What is a kettlebell?

A kettlebell is a traditional Russian cast iron weight. They are not a new exercise method, they have been used in Russia since the 1704 by weightlifters, strongmen and the Russian special forces.

Benefits of using kettlebells?

Training with a kettlebell will increase your strength and flexibility, as well as burning loads of fat.
Kettlebell training is all about movements and is a full body workout. This means the body has to work as one unit, so lots of muscle groups are working together.
Kettlebell training can also improve posture, strengthen tendons and ligaments as well as strengthening and lengthening muscles. It can also be added to a building routine to bulk up muscles (if you are not training and bodybuilding sets, reps and weight then muscle bulk will not be a result of kettlebell training).

Kettlebell training is both a cardio and strength workout in one, so if you're pushed for time at the gym or want a workout at home, this is the ideal workout for you.
