Q What is a good snack to have before a moderately intense workout?
A Foods high in complex carbohydrates — such as fruits, vegetables, and whole-grain bread, rice, or pasta. Exactly how much you should eat before working out is really a personal thing. Some people can consume a large meal just before exercising and not experience any problems, while others can barely eat half an apple without getting sick during their workout. This is really something you need to experiment with to find out what, when, and how much of a snack works best for you.
Q: I have just started working out with a stability ball. I noticed there are different sizes how do I know what size to use?

A. Your ball should match your height. When you sit on the ball with your feet flat on the floor, your hips should be at knee level and your thighs parallel to the floor.
