Plyometrics
Plyometrics have been used by coaches for many years by implementing jumping, bounding and hops to training sessions to increase the explosive power of athletes.
Plyometrics is a method of training which aims to improve the explosive reaction of performers through powerful muscular contractions (muscle shortens) as a result of rapid eccentric contractions (muscle lengthens).
